oh hey look! all my favorite people in one place.

So yesterday was the BEST DAY EVER. I had tickets to see the afternoon performance of Newsies which I was totally stoked for because I’ve seen the movie too many times to count…and I saw it in New Jersey at the Paper Mill Playhouse in October and have been waiting for them to make their way to Broadway. It was amazing, as if I expected anything different. Got a free Newsies tote bag, ordered the CD which came with a free poster, then waited outside the stage door for autographs and pictures, which was awesome. They all took their time and talked to people and were more than happy to take pictures. It was a blast.

then…..

I went over to The Book of Mormon theater to put my name in the lottery for the evening performance. I’ve done this at least 7 times before and so this time I was really just going to get some more entries into the lottery for the special June fan performance. 

And then I won!!!! I don’t remember exactly what happened except I screamed and ran up. But I got to see The Book of Mormon from the first row center orchestra!! I’ve been dying to see the show since last June and I listened to the soundtrack for months on end so I knew all the words to all the songs but to finally see it on the stage was the best experience ever. PLUS, I didn’t know it but it was the one year anniversary performance!! Afterwards I waited outside the stage door and got to talk to and get autographs and pictures with the cast. BEST DAY EVER.
